Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Business and Administration |
The IAM Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Business and Administration supports those already working in, or aspiring to work in, business positions. Holders of the qualification will develop essential knowledge and understanding across a range of practices and learn how to work collaboratively.
A combination of mandatory and optional units based on the business and administration national occupational standards, offers learners flexibility to study units that specifically interest them. The course can be studied full or part-time and takes between six and 18 months to complete. Students are assessed by multiple choice examinations. The qualification is accredited by the appropriate qualification Regulatory Authorities. |

Our Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Business and Administration aims to develop learners’ knowledge and understanding across a range of administrative activities and practices. |

The qualification enables the learner to develop essential knowledge of how to undertake everyday and more complex administrative tasks such as project management and contributing to innovation and change within a business. |

The qualification is based on the business and administration national occupational standards developed by the Council for Administration (CfA) and can be used as the technical certificate component of the Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business and Administration. |

qualification structure |
The qualification has four mandatory units and seven optional units. Candidates have to complete all the mandatory units, worth 15 credits and, in addition to this, achieve two credits from the choice of optional units.
They need to achieve a minimum of 17 credits to complete the qualification. |

assessment |
Each of the mandatory and optional units will be assessed through a separate on-line multiple choice examination. |
certification and grading |
The units and overall qualification are not graded. Candidate will however be notified of the marks that they receive for each question paper they undertake. |
