The Professional Financial Accountant qualification develops and tests a wide range of accountancy and finance skills and business and management expertise, including strategic thinking and developing a range of business skills. It also promotes positive attitudes and ethical behavior. Having attained the Professional Financial Accountant qualification you will be entitled to become an Associate Member of the IFA, use the AFA designation and describe yourself as an ‘Incorporated Financial Accountant’.

Access to the Professional Financial Accountant qualification is open to those who possess the Diploma. Otherwise entrants should ideally hold: a relevant degree or HND, or equivalent qualification, at least two years’ workplace experience in finance or accounting role. If you don’t have the qualifications mentioned you will be expected to sit and pass our ‘Professional Challenge’ module first.
